MILE END SCHOOL SPORTS (MESS)

Mile End School Sports club is a new intiative made up of various Mile End Sports teams – currently P3 Football, P5 Netball, P6/7 Netball and P6/7 Basketball with membership fees payable by participants.

How it works
By paying £40 per year, approximately £1.00 per week, we are able to have pupils represent our school in league matches, festivals and competitions throughout the school year. Membership income is also used to pay affiliation fees, volunteer expenses, coach education costs, equipment and other necessary costs involved in running a team.

By combining the incomes from the various teams we can ensure that the money collected is working well for them and generating interest. Members also receive 10% discount off purchases made at Thistle Sports, Aberdeen.
